The Daily Journal named Sharon Vinick, a founding partner of Vinick Hyams LLP, to its 2023 “Top Labor & Employment Lawyers” list, a highly-prized recognition of excellence. Out of the thousands of attorneys practicing employment law in California, the Daily Journal legal newspaper chooses only 75 to recognize each year as the leading litigators of employment cases. Fewer than half of the slots go to attorneys representing employees, making Vinick’s selection for this honor even more significant.
Vinick was chosen in part for her role as co-lead counsel in a six-week trial that resulted in a $12 million jury verdict on behalf of a medical resident who was sexually assaulted while at work. The case, among a string of trial and arbitration victories for Vinick, was tried in Los Angeles Superior Court in the summer of 2022.
